5 Kick Ass Fitness Blogs You Should Be Reading

Ever wonder what bloggers are doing when they aren’t blogging? Reading other folks blogs! I wanted to share with you 5 blogs I’ve been following and why YOU should be too!

MizFitOnline I came across Carla’s (MizFit) blog about a year ago and I just love her unapologetic attitude when it comes to fitness! MizFit is a community builder, healthy living blogger, freelance writer, Mama to a Tornado of a girl, Seuss lover, and beef jerky addict. She shares her fit life experiences through videos and pics on her site.  MizFit is her own superhero. She inspires many out there who are trying to balance a healthy lifestyle with the real world. Roni’s Weigh Web developer and former assistant professor turned professional blogger, Roni (Veronica) started blogging while pregnant with her first son. She always had weight issues and the blog became a therapeutic outlet for her to write and upload progress pics. She even started another blog, GreenLiteBites, focusing solely on food and what she eats. Does she sound obsessed with this weight loss blogging thing? Well, thank goodness she has another outlet on twitter :-)

Fit Bottomed Girls These two ladies are on a mission to keep your “bottom line” under control! But they also understand that health and fitness should be about enjoyable activities and the occasional treat, not about torturous workouts and deprivation. They interview fitness icons like Denise Austin & big losers like Tara Stiles. You’ll like the articles on dining out and great album reviews. Download some of those rocking playlists to keep your booty moving! These girls are hard to keep up with unless you are following them on twitter!

Pasta Queen Jennette a.k.a. PastaQueen tells funny stories about her amazing 192lb weight loss triumph and how she keeps it off with humor!  Her blog used to focus solely on her weight loss, but now covers other tantalizing topics including how she likes to steal cake & cannolis. What you’ll like about her blog is she gives real opinions on everything from weight loss books, gadgets, and other cool stuff.  Oh, did I mention she wrote a hilarious book, Half Assed? You have my permission to stalk her on twitter too:-)

Girl Gets Strong This blog was started by three friends bonded by the love of running and all things fun! They even have fun nicknames’; GoGo Girl, Crazy Legs, and Pink Panther. What makes this blog bling is the wide variety of topics they cover. You can get fit products & book reviews, hear all about their escapades (be ready to laugh your butt off), nutrition tips, workout ideas, celebrity weight-loss drama, and giveaways just to name a few.  These ladies will definitely inspire you to treat health & fitness as an adventure!
