BUT I know it’s way too early for that–so I decided instead to make a protein shake icon smile Protein shake better than wine???

This decadent shake only took me 3 minutes to make and I’m savoring (see pic) it just like a glass of wine!

Healthy Banana Split Shake

Ingredients:

1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder

1/2 scoop of chocolate protein powder

I finally tried a recipe I got from my friend, Monica Queen. We both competed in the OCB Eastern Regionals this past April.

Since then, I have been a huge fan of all her clean recipes. Monica says this recipe will make you never want to eat a Starbucks muffin again–and I agree!

It reminded me of 1992, as a military dependent stationed in Guam USA, where we prepared for frequent typhoons. I actually went through 3 super typhoons, which are storms with winds over  150 miles per hour!  Here we would call these a category 4 or 5 hurricanes. These storms usually bring lots of rain and the inevitable loss of power.
