This is especially true among women. As soon as we get a group of ladies together, someone says “I look so fat lately” or “I really need to lose weight.”

Hey guys,

Kurt and I are out here at Fedex Field for the Redskins vs. Giants game having a wonderful tailgate…

Even though Kurt is a Bill’s fan (you can tell by the hat) he loves watching the Redskins and having a good time with his sweetie icon smile Football and my honey :)

Our friend Phil puts on an awesome tailgate and makes sure I’ve got some healthy options. Today he brought out rotisserie chicken, grilled sweet potatoes, fruit, mixed green salad with feta cheese, pecans, berries, strawberries and balsamic dressing. He put his foot in this one ya’ll! LOL

And right now, I’m writing this post on the eve of my rotator cuff repair. It was bound to happen after 17 years of training and recently competing  for my first figure show.

Like there’s ever a good time for something like this, but for me it couldn’t have come at a busier time in my life…

I’m a full time personal trainer and studio owner, promoting  my first book, and just launched my figure competition prep program. And for the first time, there is a wait list for sessions with me here in the studio!
