KimNPCUSA My Road to Pro...So, I haven’t blogged in over 3 months. Why you ask?

I’ve been training hard towards my dream of becoming a pro-figure athlete…

It all started when I decided to get in the best shape of my life November 2010.

And the only way I could think of to achieve this goal was to challenge myself and do a figure competition. It was tough sticking to the competition diet through the holidays and my birthday but I did it. My first show was April 9, 2011 and with my husband out in the audience whistling his head off, I walked away with 3 trophies!

1. Gluteus Maximus  (aka glutes)- these are the largest of the 3 muscles in your buttocks and acts as a cushion while sitting down. Unfortunately, for many of us, our jobs have us sitting more than in motion. We end up losing a lot of the “roundness” because our glutes are being flattened out. Set your timer for 2:1 = 2 minutes of cardio followed by 1 minute of abs
